The commercial arm of UK central government, the Crown Commercial Service (“CCS”), has announced that its Construction Professional Services Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) has gone live for suppliers to register to join the DPS, ahead of its ‘go live’ date on 1 November 2021.

Industry Sectors;
Geographical Regions; and,

These filters will be used by Public Sector buyers to filter suppliers according to location specific and industry specific professional services requirements a supplier has been appointed to.
The DPS has specifically been designed to complement other CCS high-value, high complexity (strategic) frameworks (such as RM6165 Construction Professional Services Framework) and is designed to provide single services and/or niche requirements covering ad-hoc or single RIBA stages. Services could include, but not be limited to:
● New build ● Refurbishments ● Extensions ● Alterations ● Maintenance requirements ● Fit-out ● Life Cycle Works (LCW) ● Heritage/Historic buildings ● Life Science/Laboratory Structures ● Infrastructure ● Modern state of the art buildings ● Smart Cities/Urban Planning ● Development of Green and Brown sites
Suppliers will only be able to provide the services for the DPS filter categories to which they have been appointed which means that Suppliers considering applying to join the DPS should consider very carefully how they position themselves within the DPS’ structure.
